Brandon & Ariel

It was August 27, 2011, a week after move in day at UNA. Some mutual friends had invited us both to a party. The night was spent night dancing with friends, listening to music and even playing a few games of basketball. After that, we continued to hang out with our mutual friends getting to know one another a little better. A month and two days later we went to the fair in Lawrenceburg Tennessee where ,even though Brandon is scared of heights, he got up the courage to ride the ferris wheel and that's where we shared our first kiss.  

Our beginning, according to Ariel:

We were dating for a little over 6 years when he proposed so of course I had a feeling for a while that it would eventually happen, but I didn't expect it that particular night! It was Christmas Eve and we went to my parents house to swap presents with each other. After gifts had been swapped my dad handed me a wrapped picture frame with a riddle typed up in it. As soon as I read the riddle I had an idea of what was happening. I was excited and nervous all at the same time! One clue led to another and once I found them all, the last one told me to go back and re-read the first word of each riddle. They read " Will you marry me?". It was perfect and a moment I will never forget.
